The main thing I wanted from the Beautorium were the Alpha-H Gentle Daily Exfoliant which has won two awards from Beautyheaven and the Avene Thermal Spring Water which I have been wanting to try for so long but never gotten around to it (this has also won a Beautheaven award!). I have heard many comparisons between the Alpha-H Gentle Daily Exfoliant and Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant which is my favourite exfoliant product ever- so I am excited to see how the Alpha-H compares.
The John Plunkett products were add ons- they sounded quite good and I had never tried any of their products so I thought this would be a great opportunity to give them a go! Since I had some leftover points I decided to grab the Sunsilk Straight Perfection Gloss Finish Serum Spray which is from Sunsilk's new Co-Creations collection. The Lady Jayne Bun Styl'r kit was provided as a gift and thank you very much Beautyheaven! The only problem is that it is a size medium/large and is far too big for my thin hair :( The package also came with some Compeed samples- a blister patch and cold sore patch which aren't in any of these photos.
I will definitely review all these products soon once I've used them for a while and post my thoughts on them. Here is a list of all the things I received and their Australian retail prices too:
- Alpha-H Gentle Daily Exfoliant 50g $59.95
- John Plunkett Glyco Peel 15mL $28.95
- John Plunkett Multi Vitamin Moisturiser 60mL $28.95
- Avene Thermal Spring Water 50mL $10.95
- Sunsilk Co-Creations Straight Perfection Gloss Finish Serum Spray 120mL $7.49
- Lady Jayne Bun Styl'r M/L $ 9.99
Very excited to try these all and thank you again Beautyheaven for such a wonderful event!
Did you get anything from the Beautorium this time round? Or have you tried any of these products before?
the only thing I've tried here is the Avene thermal spring water & I love it :) these look like really great stuff can't wait to read your thoughts on these products
ReplyDeleteI am happy with the Avene Thermal Spring Water so far and I love the mini size of it :)
DeleteGreat items!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to get some stuff but then decided to save my points :P
Looks like a great haul!
ReplyDeleteI love to wear my hair in a bun - a great way to save money is to use a sock with the end cut off or a legwarmer (clean of course!) instead of spending money on a hair donut!

You picked up some awesome items- you've definitely saved A LOT of money and that's probably one of the things I love about Beautorium. Good job for getting enough points for everything too, especially the Alpha-H Exfoliant! Looking forward to the reviews :)
ReplyDeleteI only picked up three things this time since my haul last time was quite big. And I agree with you about the bun styler being too big- it's too big for me too! :(
...I have NO idea why the word beautorium has a link btw :\
Deleteomg see?! ^^^^^^^ ._.
DeleteHaha omg! What did you get from the Beautorium this time round? The Bun styler is massive, I have a smaller sized one already and even that is too big :( I'm really excited for the exfoliant too, I haven't tried it out yet because I had exfoliated just yesterday and don't want to over exfoliate haha :P
Deleteyou must have spent hours on the site, writing reviews to pick up all these great products! the avenue thermal water thing sounds pretty interesting, i've seen it around priceline (i think, or somewhere else), hopefully you can do a review of it after testing it out :P
ReplyDeleteI managed to pick up a few goodies from the event too! I can't wait till the next one comes up now :)
I just adore the Avene thermal spring water especially when it's cold. It sounds like you got some great deals.

i always buy the big big (200ml?) bottle of the Avene Thermal Spring Water! It's so soothing and feels so refreshing in the summer, and my skin is less prone to allergic reactions with it. it's also not expensive at all here in germany compared to australia or asia (10 bucks for the big bottle + free small bottle like the one you have!). on the other hand, i love using it after exfoliating my skin, bc it helps to calm down redness and irritation, so there is less chance that my skin will burn if i applied some cream directly after exfoliating! i think the product is very suitable for the australian sun and the hot weather, definitely a good choice, and the award is definitely well deserved :)))

I've heard so much hype about the Avene Thermal Spring water and I'm more excited to have it! That's such a good price get it for in Germany- everything here in Australia is priced ridiculously :( This spray would be awesome for the Australian summer and I agree! I would love to get a bigger bottle whenever there is great offer next for Avene :)
DeleteOh really interesting products.

This would've been so cool to receive! I'm not a member of Beauty Heaven and I had no idea this was even going on :p Looking forward to the more indepth reviews! I love the Avene Thermal Spring Water, though it might just be water in a can. It's just so pure, soothing and versatile.
ReplyDeleteI've read about Avene and the spring water there in France has soothing activity and is really good for treating skin conditions! I love how Avene is great for sensitive and irritated skin too :) I agree that it is so versatile!
DeleteYou got some great products!

wow, such an interesting products! im so looking into your review for the Alpha-H Gentle Daily Exfoliant and glyco peel ^_~
ReplyDeleteHow are you liking the bun styler? I love mine but my head can't take it for more than a few hours since my hair is so thick and heavy.
ReplyDeleteMy hair is pretty thin so this one here is too big for me- although I do have another bun styler which is smaller! It seems to fall out as my hair is too slippery :( Sigh, if only I could get the perfect bun!
Deletelovely post! :)

Avene has really good face care range. I love their rich moisturizing cream for face and eye cream. The thermal water is also great especially for holidays, or long flights.
